Excuse me not knowing econ, what is the plan to avoid mass crashes? Haven't we lost almost 50% in a month?

Markets are put on lock down after a certain sell point for a given session. I believe the current sell off point is 12% of overall value (could be less). It is not based on weekly or yearly percentages. That was created to avoid a market crash. Basically, you can't trade.

I'll tell you what I'm doing.. I'm going long on solid stocks and gold. Anything to keep the value of the $USD. Just because Europe and Asia falls 10% , doesn't mean we have to. Theres a lot of Overseas money coming in to force US to capitulate.

Companies with strong balance sheets and have cash. Don't pay attention to the DOW, watch the S&P Futures. Don't buy what is going on until you get confirmation from all the indicies.
