Ohh and BTW syria is not US's neighbor...it's Iraqs...if you must use such an example....

IMO US has just given Syria a reason to further distance themselves...
Wow, glad you aren't responsible for our defense....we'd raise white flags left and right

Good to hear!

defense?? I guess with you we would be in Iraq N korea and Iran

Wagner stick to your political and anti Obama threads...as for international relations learn a few things before going to bomb in diff. countries as you see fit...because doing that will only make more enemies in case you haven't noticed...

X54.4Blue the point is we just went into another country and used military force.... no warning no nothing...no wonder everyone is trying to develop weapons...because an invasion is possible as long as we are in that area...

I am dissapointed that US is 'applying the law of the jungle' ...

How would any of us like it...if Russia was to engage in an military attack 5 miles withing US terrotory becase they suspected some terrorists there...without even notifying US...we would not like it either...at least i wouldn't

I lost your point in all your rambling Love to hear how you would deal with anything. What things should I "learn" there professor, the fact that we did take out a terrorist arm?

Dannyell,
Have you ever served in the military and seen firsthand the tactics terrorists use to ensure their agendas???
Pacifism DOES NOT Work when dealing with terrorists!!! They must be killed at any time and place that is possible. If it means going 5 miles into a country that sponsors them with weapons, shelter and many other things, yeah, we'll smoke em without hesitation!!! This happens much more than you realize anyway. It's better that the public doesn't know what we're really doing to protect them. The public can't comprehend this and won't sacrifice what they should when it comes to winning this war so it's best they stay out of it and let us do what must be done. Simple as that.

Yeah, Aviano is close enough to venice for a day trip even! No plans to go to Lakenheath but I'll probably go to each USAFE base for a staff assist visit at some point in that 6 months. Incirlik Turkey has good gun shopping too.

So then a better comparison for you would be if a robber broke in and killed somebody in their house, then ran into the neighbors yard... should the cops ask permission before jumping the fence after the killers and taking them down? Or would they just do it and notify the neighbors of what had to be done afterwards.
