Well...The economy hit home for me today
We have a family meeting on Saturday to see how we can trim the fat considering we will have $75,000 a year less in income and the cost of adding her and our son to my health-care plan. Christmas will be thin this year and to add insult to injury I lost my iPhone yesterday which I did not realize how much I needed until it was gone. Not like I can justify going out and spending $500 on another phone...Back to my Motorola flip.

Sorry to hear that, MLG.
Unfortunately it is just a matter of time until this happens to more and more people. I can feel your pain though. I am in the Real Estate industry and am lucky to be working at all. To add insult to injury, all the assets that most of us have are depreciating daily. Pretty depressing overall. Hopefully things will get better as we get deeper into 2009, but who knows for sure.

Job retention is a big concern of mine -- unfortunately, the NY metropolitan area is an expensive area to live in with a lot of unemployment (and it's only going to get worse). And losing the iPhone is not so bad. Actually, I'm wrong on that. It is My life would be a lot less fun without my gadgets that I can't do without: X5, PC and iPhone...
