b) carried a Glock racked & hot= IDIOT (the age-old argument persists as to whether Glocks should be carried racked with one in the chamber since they do not have a "substantial" safety; I side with idiot on this one) c) didn't use at all or didn't use a proper conceal carry holster= IDIOT d) was drinking a cran & vodka= IDIOT e) ruined the leather in his Escalade= IDIOT f) was driving an Escalade in the first place= IDIOT A .40cal with personal defense ammo would have put a very healthy hole in his leg... he's lucky he got by with "what appears" to be a graze or minor flesh wound. If it walks, talks and acts like a... it probably is.

Stock it's by no means a "hair trigger" - although Glocks are one of the most easily and frequently modified pistols on the market - so one could have installed a lighter trigger. Given Plaxico's Idiot status, I doubt he would've had the intelligence to perform this sequence, unless of course he "acquired" the gun that way.
Secondly, the Glock trigger is technically a safety (with three internal sub-safety systems), but at the end of the day, one fell swoop in pulling the trigger will drop the hammer and discharge the firearm. Chances are he grabbed the for firearm as it was sliding down his polyester "suit" and accidentally made full contact with the trigger. Correct. Glocks have three internal safeties. My G21 would be nearly impossible to accidently pull the trigger and depress the safety. Glocks allow very little room in between the trigger and guard. He is a D-Bag...no matter the firearm..you shouldn't have one in the chamber. It takes 1 second to run the slide and pulling it from your "waistband" takes longer than that.

Wags, I have to disagree with you on the "one in the pipe" issue. When you have one hand full of "fending off bad guy", you don't have a third hand to help you rack the slide. The Glock is perfectly safe to carry with one in the chamber.

even if he did end up getting robbed...or an attempted robbery... Was he gonna shoot the assailant with an illegal firearm????? seriously plaxico???? was he going to risk his life and career (we already got the answer!) for his jewels or his car???? let's see...his jewels and car....at most...probably half a million. he due to lose 30 million when he gets waived by the GMEN!!!!! what an idiot!!!!
