Obviously, this reporter had no common sense at all and he deserved every bit of what he got.
You made my point, ahmadinejad would qualify as any president.

With regard to the incident, here is my takeaway:
1. Mr. Bush handled it well
2. The reporter was irresponsible on many levels
- He verbally disrespected and physically attacked his Prime Minister’s guest and by doing that he disrespected his Prime minister. That is big deal in the Arab world which takes pride in hospitality
- He disrespected his profession which allowed him the access in the first place
- He did a disservice to his fellow reporters by behaving that way
3. The reaction:
- Those wants to pile on Bush see it as an opportunity to pile on some more.
- Those who don’t like Arabs will see as an opportunity to not like Arabs even more
- My reaction was: Oh Sh*t, here we go again… followed by Thank God it did not Land!
4. There is an undeniable comical aspect as being highlighted throughout the late night talk shows!

Just my $0.02
Thus far the most intelligent post to this thread.

Really? In what way?
I happen to agree, and hey, look what would have happened:
1) Something to bitch about other than the ailing economy
2) +1 martyrdom point for little dubya, who is one of the biggest wastes of office EVER
3) I would have gotten one hell of a laugh out of it during finals week, and would have set my liberal professors in a great mood
and
4) pwnage.
