The shoe throwing reporter from Egypt expected to be killed and become a martyr - by NOT being killed, he ends up refuting his argument that America's deposing of Saddam Hussein was worse than if Saddam was still in power

Another thought... - If he was so upset about blaming the USA for the Iraqi women & children that have been killed since we entered Iraq, WHERE was he when Saddam was killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis? - WHERE is his protests over the killings by terrorist bombers? - just another hypocrite, tunnelvisioned with his own narrow opinion

Different thinking in that part of world. People over there are used to getting killed and killing others. It has happened through ages. They will kill their brothers and sisters for power and money. They think that they rather be killed by their own than by some foreign power. Very religious community. The moment some foreign power enters they are united in their opinion. If you do a poll in not just Iraq but entire muslim-Eurasia on how many locals like the US invasion, you will see the difference.

There are a lot of things I just do not get about extremist Muslim ideology. Perhaps the biggest perversion of Islam (and this obviously does not apply to moderate Muslims) is the sanctioned, fully state-approved killing of your own sister or daughter because she "allowed" herself to get raped, and thus has disgraced the family. If that is not sick ideology, I don't know what is.....

Nevertheless, I think the NFL needs to give this reporter a shot. Great arm and tremendous ball rotation....errrr.....shoe rotation....
