As for Bush getting a shoe thrown at him, the worst that could happen from that is some embarrassment. That is why I said "too bad he missed". Throwing a shoe at someone is not an assassination attempt. It is something you would do to mock him.

The guy had amazing accuracy, I'm guessing he practices throwing his shoes a lot; probably at his wife and kids...

W handled it quite well, IMO.

Yeah, glad I'm not the only one who picked up on that. W's ducking was impressive, but the velocity and forward rotation on those shoes was unreal! Even better than a Tony Romo 50-yard completion to Terell Owens! If Iraq had an NFL league, this guy could be a starting shoe-back.

Not a fan of Bush but I think that he handled this one pretty well
