Since when is a Toyota Tundra an American SUV? It's not even an SUV.

DOUBLE FAIL!

I got fired without notice or cause when I had no other car to take, and brought my E90 to work. I think townie culture is a little different from corporate culture though.

I think a Tundra costs just as much, and an X5 only shows that you have good taste. I'd still take the exploder if I were in your shoes though.

If he's a tool you are screwed, eventually, no matter what you do. Tell the company you have your vehicle scheduled for service that day and that you'll have to rent a car and expense it. Tell the tool it's a rental so that he won't try to draw any conclusions based on his opinions of the vehicle.

You mentioned you were advised not to take your X. Advised by who? Do the people with the advice know the tool better than you?

M, what is with all this Fail stuff?

The Tundra is a big truck made in the USA, not a car a tree huger would drive.

Just enough Oinkment to show I care for my vehicle, I hopes.

The advisors are management (friends) in the other division and were generalizing 'safe tool' protocol. (at a Super Bowl party)

It went OK. Around 10:00 we met with an owner/Chef and walked the grounds of a new property. As we were leaving, she asks, "Where's the Bimmer?" DOH!!! I down played it and drove off in the exploder. He later asked, in a friendly way, about it. I simply said that I found a great deal on an old, used X5.

There is a general come to Jesus on Friday and I will know then, the impressions from today.
