Yeah? Ask my friend who drove his 525i across I-85 yesterday how many times he had to get towed.
But in a rare moment of agreement, my CFO had to service her X today and got an E90 328i xdrive loaner, and her first comment was how it was swimming up our cul-de-sac since the economic situation has obviously stopped the town from maintaining our street. Oh well.

FSETH- You got spared, my friends were in ATL and they got hammered.

I guess I lucked out. It never got really bad in my area. Anything more than a couple inches of snow can really throw things off down here because they are just not prepared to deal with it. Plus, everyone here drives crazy as hell in rain/snow anyway for some reason which makes it even worse.

Not to start the 2.592th debate on this, but it mostly depends on the driver. You really have to really be not paying attention and/or conscious of how to react to spin out. It's hard to get DSC to intervene; I had to either jerk the wheel really hard or jab the throttle to lose traction. Maybe it's the winter tires.

Now its just the hard refreeze. I hate crunching over frozen snow blocks.
