I've got ESET NOD32 4.0 (just the AV, not their Internet suite). No problems so far.

"Webroot AntiVirus with AntiSpyware" appears to be working just fine.

Some reports of ESET firewall capabilities having problems. Avast seems to be getting some good reports on Windows 7 so far.

What about Windows Defender until the vendors have sorted out their problems?

Well Here is Kaspersky's response to BSOD with their recent update to a malware definition library. I think it started crashing my system right after an update and reboot.

I'll let you know how Panda Pro 2009 goes. It's free as a beta but you have to go through MS's Windows 7 site to get to the download.

Classic. I read some posts on the W7 beta newsgroups of problems with Kapersky. So others there have dumped it too.

W7 has a bi-directional firewall built-in but outbound detection is disabled by default (at least in the beta). Here is some background:

Particularly the section:

This is a reason I only run the AV/AS product from ESET, not their suite.
