I have found that Boston drivers never give you a break, it seems that its sport for them to block people especially tourist.

Blocking the left lane by going the speed limit is not safe if you can easily get into the right lane and there are people behind the driver in the left.

Riding someones tail is not safe either, even if they are in the left lane and won't get over.

The best thing to do is to move out of the left lane if there is open room in front of you, the right lane is clear and people are obviously waiting to get past you.

We can nitpick laws till the cows come home, but as I said, I did not impede this guy. I sped up rapidly since he was hanging on my bumper, and I did not "prevent" him from trying to pass me when he jerked into the right lane to try and outgun me. I just stayed in my lane going about 85 mph or so. I'm sure if he was in a Porsche Turbo he would have left me in the dust. But he was frustrated by the fact that I accelerated faster than him, and he was then forced to jerk back into the left lane, and was once again forced to be behind me when his right lane ended. If he needed to pass a slow driver that would be one thing, but by trying to pass me while I accelerated to 85 mph, he was trying desperately to show how much quicker and nimbler he was in his Passat, which clearly he could not do. So he then did the "next best thing" which was to try and run me off the road once the right lane opened up again.

best to let them pass because you do not know why they`re in a rush . that sounds like normal driving in france because i`m sure those f*ckwits have magnetic bumpers or no f*cking brain or both .

Oh come on... you know that driving in Boston is F-U-N.

You're also not a tourist in Boston with blue and white tags. You're the enemy

What I find frustrating is the guy that wants to get around you when you re in heavy traffic.

Not that I have observed. Then again, I rarely do anything that would tick off other drivers. Admittedly, I'm sure I've frightened some old ladies by overtaking them on a one-lane highway (45 in a 60 zone? Hmmmm that's a tad slow), but then again these only exist in Virginia.

All the cocks are driving Audis thesedays. I wish they'd get off my tail in urban areas. Mr. A4 driver: The stopping distance on I-64 or I-95 is not 4 metres.

Same here...before entering on the freeway we got 2 lanes of traffic...speed limit ranging from 45 to 50 then 55 ... so a lot of passing going on here

I think everyone has a bad driving day sometimes, that being said, your bound to run into these people from time to time, some days I'm the cool calm collected one sometimes I'm not, BUT, just try not to take anything personal, and do your thing

....problems arise when both people are having a bad day, but thats why we have 5 fingers and not 4 right, lol worst comes to worst show them whos #1

most of the time I laugh it off, except for two nights ago traveling down the highway. I was in the middle lane, it's raining hard, and some ass*ole flys by me in a mercury marquis, but only but a cars length, cuts right in front of me and slams (and I mean slams) his brakes on. Scared the hell out of me, I hit the brakes and for some reason the 335xi pulled hard right into the slow slow lane. Dunno what that's about. Normally I would laugh it off but he pissed me off royally so I called 911, reported him as a drunk driver and followed him until the highway patrol caught up to him. I hope I made his night.
