OK this version (Mark 6) would be tough to put on a sticker...

Wondering also if Jeff could let us know what would the (maximum) dimensions be for the proposed sticker as this will impact on the size of font used especially if it contains a rider re "Where you come for the friendship etc etc".
Thanks, Foomph

Jeff's currently looking for the logo. I'm not sure of the size dimension, but I'm assuming something similar to what's up there now.

The sticker will most likely just be Xoutpost.com in 1" Arial Black (the same as the current X5world .com stickers). There's a chance we'll use the logo as our sticker, but that'll be determined after the logo is chosen.

Deadline for new entries will be May 31st. At that time the selection committee (admins/moderators) will pick the best ones for consideration and put them up for vote by the site membership via a poll. At this time I am not constraining the logo dimensions, although 200 x 1000 is a guide for which things can be scaled and resized, as needed.

So far many of the entries are very creative, and I could easily pick one or two that I think would be an excellent site logo. In case anyone is still working on concepts, you still have 2 weeks to get your logo submitted for consideration.

Thanks to all that have participated so far!

Jeff

FInally!

Here's one (Mark 7) that I'm finally HAPPY with...

It does not use BMW's proprietary "X".

It will not be suitable for a simple laser-cut sticker - I'm guesing we'll go with a simple "www.Xoutpost.com" decal for that.

I'm happy with this one, too! Good work!

For the decal, I'd keep the same font and size of "Xoutpost.com" (without the 3D-ness it currently has) and drop the rest (outline of the X5 and the "come for the info..." verbiage).

I'm throwing another 2 in the mix. My reasoning behind this slant from the front end is;
1) The easily recognised kidney grills are synonymous with only BMW's and always will be as much as they always were/are and
2) Angel eyes readily identify a BMW. Again, angel eyes will I'm sure remain as an eye catching feature on many models to come.

I appreciate the X may be a bit out there but I recall PNG mentioning a 'strong X'.

One more... let's add some 'BLING'!

(Mark 8)

WARNING: Staring at the 'bling' in the X for prolonged periods may cause retinal image 'burn-in', and depending on your monitor calibration, this may cause you to see illusions of images within the bright spot.
