You could always speak to the forum owner about becoming an Adorama affiliate - it could be used to help with the runing costs of the board and / or to give members a discount.

When I call a store, am told that they have what I'm looking for and that they'll hold it for me (from the time I hung up the phone to the time i showed up at the store was 30 minutes max) and then not only do they not hold it for me but don't have it in stock and THEN give me attitude when I show up to buy it, well,

The only reason I suggested Adorama to Greg was because they were the only store I could find that still had them new. Who knows, maybe they're changing their attitudes, as it seems with Helen scouring web forums for mentions of Adorama and offering assistance
I'm sure you are absolutely right. I've been with Adorama since December '07, but I've seen enormous changes for the better - in terms of hiring & firing practices, and staff supervision and training during that time.

I always get great satisfaction from checking the customer feedback at reselleratings.com, where we are now up to 9.51 / 10 over the past 6 months. That has really nothing to do with my presence on the forums, but reflects a real commitment to change and total customer satisfaction from the new management team.
Yes, I would not expect there never to be any mess-ups, as in any large company, but at least I'm now around to give our customers fast, easy and responsive access into the company, whatever the query or problem.

That's a great deal. B&H has the body and 28-135IS for the same price but without the free printer and CF card.

So the Costco deal is pretty good.
