It was so nice out today I went for a 30 mile ride today.

It was good to work off some of the Turkey and pie.

It is a beautiful day down here today, just got back from a ride myself. My mother and I went out with the purpose of getting some good pelican shots, and knew just where to go. We got quite a few decent shots, might frame a few.

I love single track - nothing like weaving through the woods, climbing up steeps and flying down hills over the tops of rock gardens and clearing the occasional tree.

Great trails within 30 minutes of my house but I've been lucky enough to enjoy epic rides near Mt Tam in Marin like Fairfax and in Colorado outside Denver like Waterton Canyon and down in Colorado Springs.

I'll dig up a pic of my old Trek Y50 FS carbon fiber that I cracked and ended up getting a free replacement for.

We only have one trail weaving through the woods in my area. Not going up and down a mountain, but it is still my favorite! Damn, I want to ride that one now!

The weather has been less than ideal for mountain biking this fall......too much rain. It seem to rain every 3rd day here, and it takes at least that long for the trails to dry (remember, no riding on wet trails). So just when you think "I'll go for a ride tomorrow", it rains.
