Anyone been to paradise island, bahamas?

Atlantis - Bahamas Vacations: Atlantis Resort & Casino Paradise Island Bahamas BS Luxury Resorts Spas Family Water Parks Conference Center Swimming With Dolphins Weddings Romantic Getaways Concerts Fine Dining Meetings.

Thinking of going in January but the average high is only 77... is that high enough for outdoor fun... i went to Bermuda once in april and it was a waste of time although i do realize Bermuda is much further north..

thanks

I didn't stay at that resort, but I did go on a Disney Cruise (wife's work took us) that stopped there for a day. We went in February and it was hot enough to enjoy the outdoors in shorts and a t-shirt. We didn't have time for any water activities while we were there, so I am not sure how cold the water is that time of year.

I will have to say that what I did see of the resort looked pretty amazing. We toured the aquarium which was indoor and outdoor. I want to say it is one of the largest open air aquariums in the world. Plenty of other things to do and see. I would bet it would be a great vacation.

Went there for an event and stayed in their villas when they first opened them...definitely had a great time as there's something for everyone. I believe January is their high season so it will be packed.

I'm with the gang; have been to PI a few times, (dedicated SCUBA trips), and have not stayed at Atlantis, but it seems fabulous.
As for that "avg 77", it is hard to find a higher average in the US in Jan, incl the Keys, etc. The water around PI should be very enjoyable
to sensational for shore wading/playing in the waves, etc. If you are considering any real diving, (beyond close in-shore snorkeling), I would
rec'd a thin wetsuit (1-2 mm), or 3mm for more dives. If not diving, don't think twice and enjoy the water, the joint, and the "Jan climate".
