Here's the interesting scene unfolding in my yard

We're having quite the rainstorm here and the ground is wet and soggy. My mom has a greenhouse, and it's heated by propane. The tank is in our field. The gas company came to fill it in their huge truck. Their infinite wisdom decided for them that they'd park the truck facing down a slope in the field. Well, guess what happened! It's very, very stuck. But this gets better! A big, big tow truck came. It got stuck sideways across my road so I can't get out of the driveway! It's so funny...
In case you're wondering why I'm home, it's because we lost power at school.

Yes they do.... When I first came home, the truck was just parked in the driveway... It hadn't gone back there yet.. So I had to park down the hill, on the field, on about 4 inches of snow... the 330xi made it up fine!

It's supposed to rain until tomorrow... I'm hoping that will take care of most of the snow.

That looks like one of the genius propane driver stunts we have around here, lol! GL to them and I hope your M&D beat on'em to fix the ruts. Nice greenhouse, by the bye.

They said they needed my mom's authorization to drive onto the field, because they would make ruts... So they were pretty much just doing that to make sure my parents wouldn't sue or something, even though they had to go on the field anyway... So now we're gettin big ruts... My parents are just going to have to deal with it. Thanks about the greenhouse... My mom is sooo into gardening. She has 9 gardens and a greenhouse.

Envious about your fairly flat land. That gardening thing, in any manner of getting one's hands in the dirt, is one of the more admirable hobbies/avocations, imo.

I admire the work she puts into it. In the summer, she works from about 5 AM to 6 PM on her garden... Of course she takes breaks, but she works so, so hard..

Update:
The trucks are finally out.. They had to bring in an excavator.
Here are some pics of the ruts/trucks.
Unfortunately, we JUST had that area repaired last spring because of the ruts... So it was all new grass and everything. Also, my friend's dad runs the oil company....
