Also, new Verizon BB Curve 2 will have wifi. New BB OS 5.0 has numerous improvement including finally threaded SMS!!

I still don't see the need for WiFi when the phone has full internet access via a browser.

The need for wifi is significant since your network "browser" speed is nowhere near the speed of wifi...

Actually most spots are free. At least around here they are. Coffee shops, and other strip mall type areas and restaraunts/bars mostly wifi is free...You just jump on with your phone and its good to go..

Thats definately where you live.

I must say though, in Europe if you subscribe to a "box" (TV/wifi/phone) you get a login, which will give you access to the overlay of all the other boxes in france.

Sucks we still have Time Waster, Comcrap and Fairly Pointless running the show in the US.
