CIRCUIT CITY IS OPEN!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a circuitcity ad on e46fanatics...
so i decided to see for myself, and yes Circuit City is OPEN!

see for yourself:
TVs, Computers, Cameras, GPS, Home Audio, Desktops, Laptops, Consumer Electronics, and More at CircuitCity.com

I thought they went bankrupt?
sorry if i'm just pointing out the obvious...

Systemax bought the name etc.

They also own the Comp USA and Tiger Direct names.

that's correct. it's only an online store for the moment. I believe the online store was closed for a little while after they went bankrupt.

E61Silver is an unknown quantity at this point
At the same price I would rather buy from Costco, Amazon or others.

actually i'm pretty sure it was, it was closed just before they closed down all the stores. When you go on the website it would have about a paragraph stating it was closing because of the economy, and will hire temporary workers, etc. Also, there was an application or something at the bottom of the page for people who wanted to apply working there temporarily.
