Hey guys, I've seen my first new M5 driving down Commonwealth Ave in Boston last week. I was walking when I heard something that seemed to have a big engine driving behind me, and I thought ohhh wow a modified 5 series, then i saw the badges and quad exhaust and just smiled

hey Kewl, thanx for the pix, the M5 is just a phenomenal car. hard to compare the 550 to it but ok, ill still take the 550
 it looks like the invasion of the e60 M5 all over the US...the e60.net forum and m5board offer a lot of pics of new owners. but reports are correct, about 200 miles per tank (10mpg). he he he and i thought a supercharged v8 was bad....here comes the high reving V10!

I just can't get over the looks of the E60. It's just plain awful. The performance is insane but at a huge price and then again, it's ugly. Did I mention that? :p
I like the sign on the side windows: "This car not for sale at this time". When that time rolls around I wonder what kind of "market surcharge" will be added.

0-60 is so overrated.. it's doesn't really tell you anything.. all depends on your launch.. now 0-100-0 is another story. With that said, estimates are in the high 11's to low 12's for 1/4 mile.

Saw a LeMans Blue M5 @ the Jets game yesterday. It ws a head turner! I thought about plowing into it just to get a closer view.
