yup
My contacts are uv blocking, so even without them the ole eye balls are protected.
Just lost my prescription, polarized Ray Bans . . . (extra deep black tint) I miss those alot.
IMO, Persol are the best. Lost my 2737's and have 2837's now.
Other than that I really like a pair of Quiksilver, with polarized glass lenses, I purchased on sale.
Love the leses on Maui Jim and Costa, but cannot find a frame that works.

Sportin' Maui Jim wraps right now - always have polarized.

I read somewhere that people with blue eyes are more sensitive to light - being one of those, I usually turn my lights on before I take my sunglasses off. And the tint on my X is 17% (according to the Georgia State Patrol).

Would be interesting on those who have responded saying they do wear sunglasses to see if they have blue eyes...

I have green eyes. And like MD, if I don't wear sunglasses, I'm in for a whopping headache within a couple of hours.

Blue eyes checking in!

I also turn on my headlights before removing my sunglasses.

Like AlexK, the sun does not bother my eyes at all. I wear them more to keep the wind out of my eyes when I am riding the jet skis, downhill skiing, etc. Other then that, for me sunglasses are just for show.

(hazel/brown eyes)

I prefer to wear them when the sun is low , dawn , dusk , and usually in winter the sun is low all day , well , for a few hours is all the sun shines in winter ,fookin torture when low sun glares on freshly wet tarmac although have not seen much for a couple of months , rain and snow and cloudy most of the time .
in my motorcycle days I carried clear and tinted visors rather than clear with sunglasses cos sunglasses aint comfortable with a lid on .blue eyed boy .
