It felt good washing mine today. Weather here in TX is crazy. 30s last week and now creeping up to 60!

Hey guys, for all of you die-hard car washers, I installed one of these at my house: Sill Faucets 12" outdoor faucet

It is an outdoor hot/ cold faucet - nice for washing cars in the cold and bathing the dogs (in warmer weather).

i have a friend who actually rigged up his garage with a hot cold hose, and a heater.. he opens the garage doors a couple inches for the water to drain out. Perfect for the winter wash!

when i get my own house, that will be on my list

I hit mine twice this week. It's going to be sunny and 60 tomorrow. I am loving it.

Educate me on the water temp - I was under the impression that using warm or hot water could melt the wax. I've always used cold water, even in the winter to wash a vehicle.

Also, just invested in a nice set of rubber insulated gloves that come up about 1/2 way the forearm so my hands don't get wet at all.

My 3 is getting cleaned tomorrow after 2 snow storms, and after tonight, a 200 mile "road trip" / assault on some twisty roads in North Carolina. Its about time.
