He can do a lot of stupid stuff in the back of a Maybach.

FWIW...Justin is his firstborn and is principal in all his youth apparel ads so i'm sure Puff saved a considerable amount using his own. He even named his NYC & Atlanta restaurants after this same son. Also this is quite common for him, some of the artist's he signed to his imprint were given luxury autos...one in particular was given a non-recoupable fully furnished townhouse with a brand new Merc' in the garage...aside from signing bonus.

Agree with the "It's all relative" comment. Quite honestly, if I had Diddy's fat wallet, I don't think I'd be buying my son a Honda Civic just to teach him patience and discipline, know what I mean? OK, maybe not a Maybach, but at least a nice M3 or an X5///M. The discipline and integrity need to come from all aspects and in what you teach your child about kindness to others. So nom3cy makes a valid point: either Diddy's kid is already a spoiled and conceited prick, or he's a good person with a kind heart. I don't know if a chauffeured Maybach will change much, one way or the other.

For Diddy (and his son), $360K is probably the equivalent of $1,000 for us. He probably makes 360K in one day.

I don't think getting a Maybach for your sweet 16 counts.

He should be given a car which he could drive. I know a couple kids who have Maybach's, Rolls Royces, Limos, and armored Escalades/ Range Rovers, and are younger than 16 (Some older) but they don't count as their cars.
I also know kids between 16-20 who have very expensive cars (some multiple) which are theirs. Youngest I have seen is a 14 year old with a S63 AMG (Won't get into the age )

A driver is a good way to keep tabs on his son and the Maybach makes it cool.

It might not be such a bad idea and might be better than buying him a cheap car.

I don't even make $1000 in one day.
Trust me even Bill Gates will not buy that expensive car for his kid.
And who gets Maybach for 16-year old irrespective of how much money you got. Is he a 60 year old?
He will put some dub wheels on it.

You are absolutely right about that. I am sure he can afford it too. Not his style, but definately Puffy's.

Diddy's entire fortune came from being over the top - if he didn't buy a Maybach for his son he could have actually lost money!
