Maybe I've seen too many movies about cops with bad attitudes (i.e. Training Day, The Departed, etc.) but I would never yell back at a cop in a cruiser with his lights flashing. That's just ASKING for trouble. Even if you're 100% convinced that you're in the right, why go out of your way to piss off a man with a taser and a gun?
Yeah, OK, maybe on paper you have every right to talk back to him and argue, but there's theory and then there's the REAL world. You got off very lucky that he didn't pull you over after that verbal exchange, and he could have kept you in your car for like 40 minutes, and wrote you 3 bogus summonses in succession, just for pissing him off. |

![]() I have to agree with everyone who says the OP was not at fault. Out of the 5-6 times I have been pulled over, I have been able to talk my way out of all but one. Guess I am just lucky. ![]() The one time I did get a ticket, things didn't go too well.
