Sprint store? Ebay man, ebay. I got 3 screen protectors for .99, a car charger for a little over $2, a 32gb MicroSD card for $11, and an extra battery and charger for a little over $9. I can always wait a week and it's like Christmas when another package from HK shows up because I never know what it is till I open it up.

Well, I was thinking about letting sprint update my phone so I don't have to deal with it... but I think I'd likely be better off doing it myself. I might do that tonight actually...

But I'd definitely get a 32g card from ebay vs paying out the ass for retail on the same damn card.

I don't know how to update it at home via Sprint, but 'm guessing you download the same installer that I used for my live wallpaper app, then just sit back and wait.

As for the card, it's only a Class 2, so it's slow to transfer between your PC and the phone, but it hasn't caused issues w/ playing back videos or music. I've got plenty of crap on it and I'm only using like 2gb of it. If I ever get adventurous and root the phone to install a custom 2.1 (getting rid of all th bloatware), there is an app that you can install so apps will run from the SD card instead of the phone, leaving the phone cleaner to run faster. I downloaded "FlashNotify" so it'll make the screen and buttons flash every 5 seconds in case I miss a call, then I don't have to wakeup the phone to see if anything came in while I'm gone. If I root the phone, there is a seperate app that can only be installed via rooting that will only flash the Home, Menu and Return button instead of the screen and buttons, so rooting is definately on my to-do list to speed this little guy up.

I honestly don't think I even have the need for the big card... I don't keep music on the phone as I have an ipod for that, and just use youtube for music videos and pandora for music. They have the same instructions on samsungs site and sprints site for the upgrade, I was just told to read them all and follow it to a T and it would be good.

So the "mybackup" app has a catch...it only works on one phone. I got a new phone since I randomly had connection issues where it would show the EV up arrow and or 1x and the music would stop streaming. I tried refreshing my apps, but apparently it requires the pro version Had I known that, I would have just written them by hand, so instead I'm installing everything fresh and clean like a new machine.

When mine updated it didn't re-sync the contacts from google... you should have seen me try to figure that out for a couple days! Damn google skynet phones...

I'm still reloading all the apps and stuff onto mine. I'm debating finally rooting my phone w/ noobl or joeykrim's custom ROM for less Sprint loaded apps to make room on the phone, getting apps to run from ROM, and a cpu clocker. This phone has like 5 different messages boards about upgrades, anything from normal users like myself, to guys running Linux and Windows 95 just to see if they can...nerds

I'm thinking about rooting too, maybe sometime soon... Now I gotta go searching around for the apps I had before etc. The spare parts app I used to set my end button to home then sleep doesn't work with 2.1 yet so I gotta find another way to set that...
