You can say 'whatever' all you like. To me, preaching from the Lexus Bible in the X forum isn't necessary.

A lot of people like to say "I bought this, and I bought that. My opinion is golden. My choices are obviously the best". Yes, they are. For you.

Save the Lexus, Mercedes, Infinitus glowing reviews for those sites.

For perspective, look what happens when CORVETTES come to the VIPER site

I do not mean any of this to sound harsh, just my opinions.

This is exactly why you are getting more of a "wow" factor with the Lexus. Vehicles like this are a constant reminder of American SUV tastes from a decade ago, imo.

No problem everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I know what you mean about the status symbol thing and wasn't trying to come back at you just was saying whatever...kind of like OK. It doesn't bother me if someone doesn't like the Lexus...fine...cool...whatever. There are loads of people who don't like BMW's either. I happen to love both.

Who is preaching from the Lexus bible...maybe you need to re read your post. I simply shared a new purchase that I made on a X forum which I am a member of...the new car happens to be a Lexus...so what. Have I said that Lexus is better than BMW? Now if I was on here saying wow the Lexus is hands down a better car than a BMW...then fine bash away. I think you are misreading my post or you are just trying to get something started on here. Lighten up man...I still have an X5 re read my post how many times have I said how great a SAV the X5 is? I love the X5... I am not taking your comments as harsh but maybe inconsiderate. Who are you to tell me what to post on which forum? Why not save your perspective for your Viper site...that is like me saying who are you to have a name like VIPERFREAK2 on a BMW site...keep your VIPER Screen names on your VIPER sites...Come on. I did not mean this to sound harsh either...this is just IMHO.

That was easy.

Oh, the famous "Who are you to tell me"

Just like you said, you will post whenever and wherever you want to. Just like me.

You wanna come here and post stuff others may disagree with, be prepared to take it like a man. Your response seemed angry and whiney.

You should have titled this thread NO NEGATIVE RESPONSES PLEASE I am only looking for approval and praise.

You can put down the Viper (and my choice of ID in this world) if you wish. Crude, obnoxious, I know. It WAS the only real sports car left. Manual gearbox, no computer nannies....pure driving bliss. The opposite of a Lexus. Again, just an opinion!

Oh yeah, while I'm at it: Why don't you RE-READ my posts. I never said anything about you not liking BMW's or X5's.

Viperfreak2...I think you and I can just agree to disagree. This is going no where. I was not angry or whiney...I guess it is all in how you read it.

Agreed. It's difficult to judge emotion when reading internet discussions.

By the way my neighbor has a Viper! Love that car...if I did not have 2 little ones I would have to try to find room in the garage for one of those... Funny thing he sold his Vette to get the Viper!

Nice ride. Lexus makes pretty good cruisers. I have never been in the new gx but I am sure the ride is supple. We have had an rx300 in the family for 10 years and its still a nice ride. Nothing wrong with having another truck on the side haha As far as the lexus being more bling (wow), there is some truth in that it is a status cruiser...but hey so is the x, just in a diff way. This bad boy has off road mixed with luxury and our x's have sport mixed with luxury

I see the need for multi-purpose vehicles. A luxury / sports car, A sports / SUV, A luxury / off roader, A roomy sporty small car...

Ferrari 550 - Mercedes CLS63 - BMW M5 -
BMW X5M - Mercedes ML63 - Range Rover Sport
Range Rover - Jeep Grand Cherokee - Lexus GX
Cooper Clubman JCW - Subaru WRX - Mitsu EVO

These are all great if you need dual purpose.

Unless you are a weathly car enthusiast, we all do. BUT I still like dedicated, one car class vehicles!

Corvette - Ferrari 458 - Viper ACR
BMW Z4 - 335 - Mini JCW
X5 3.5 - Cayenne S - Jeep Wrangler
Lexus LS - BMW 750i - Mercedes S class

I know, a couple of those are a little blurry.

Yeah good point. Saw a new 458 yesterday I know they have been out for some time but they are somewhat rare for my area. When I have a two car garage I def want a dedicated sports car!
