i want something sportier than the is350.. looked at it, wasnt all that impressed.. i mean its very nice.. but for around $45k its nothing that really "wowed" me enough to justify the price.. anyone have any first had experience w/ the s2k or g35c? on my 350z the interious was just horrendous, cheap, plastic everywhere hows the g35 stack up?

are you only limited by those 2 choices? <40K, there are a lot of other cars you can get... for about 35K and Gresch & MD would probably agree with me, how about C5 Z06? I'm also seeing some low mileage 2000 996's for around a little over 40K also.

just my 2 cents.

I had a 2005 G35c that I traded for my X3 (practicality). It really was a good car, with what I definitely thought were higher quality materials. The seats were the BEST I have EVER sat in for a car... so comfy! Very responsive, sporty car with great speed and braking. I aslo looked at the 350z, but it really was an ugly car on the inside. I had an auto (agreement with the ceo) which was still quick with 280hp and 6.1 secs to 60. The 6MT acually has 298hp (but 10 less torque) and will hit 60mph in under 6 seconds.

I was at the SF auto show this last week and saw an S2000... not my cup of tea. The interior seemed really bland. the interior of the Infiniti is much better. Also, you simply can't beat the styling of the exterior.

considering i've driving the e90, the g35, s2000, and the 350z, the g35 was the most fun to drive. i absolutely loved the interior of the car. Everytime you sat down in the seats, the seats would just hug you. I had a g35 before i got my x5 but tragically i got into a horrible accident & i trashed my g35. if the car wasn't built so strong & the airbags weren't so great (Plus me wearing my seatbelt), i would not be here today.
