Meet Amber

Some SOB who I hope will rot in hell dumped five puppies near the house we're building. We just happened to be driving around the neighborhood, and saw some people setting up a crate to temporarily house the puppies. (They all had at least two dogs, and could not adopt them.) Anyway, we fell in love with this little cutie, and brought her home. She was very shy and afraid. She was also the smallest -- the runt of the litter. Liz held her for a few minutes and the rest was history.

We think she has some beagle in her (look at those ears), and probably some rottweiler? A neighbor says she's beagle/dachshund. What do you guys think?

Anyway, we won't be getting much sleep for the next few weeks, but, it's all worth it.

Here she is...

Nuff said.

Thanks, guys... she IS indeed adorable. I don't understand how someone can be so heartless and cruel as to dump five defenseless puppies out on the street...

Anyway, as my wife said, "there was a reason why we turned on that street," and well... I can't argue with her on that.

She's a cutie Juan! If you can just have her house broken before you move into the "Brick House"

That is our hope and our goal, Rob! The closing has been postponed to the 10th of January, so we may have a good chance of that happenning, actually!

Cute pup, Juan! If she doesn't get too big, maybe she has Manchester Terrier/Miniature Pinscher in her as opposed to Rottie? What about the other pups? My boxer, Rocky, turns 14 in March, so I can't adopt one, but the future Mrs. can I never cropped his ears, either
