Yes, I did. However, I'm not that smart - especially with electrical stuff.

I sending a PM.

Electrical problems are tricky and not always easy to identify the source issue. I know by experience but eventually have been able to sort it out and solve the problems. PM sent back, looking forward to getting together.

New waterpump ...

Well, now that its warmed up a little outside I started upgrading the cooling system.

I found several holes in the radiator. Since I have no idea how old or if the other parts are defective, I decided to replace/upgrade the entire cooling system.

Here you can see the old crappy 17" radiator, 16" 4-blade fan, non-stock stainless shroud, old water pump, thermostat housing and 192 degree thermostat.

I'm replacing those with a 24" brass/copper 3-row radiator from a big block, stock plastic shroud, 18" 6-blade fan with non-thermal fan clutch, Flowkooler high-flow aluminum water pump, chrome T-stat housing and a little cooler 180 degree T-stat.

Here's a progress pic.

I'm waiting on some parts to come in to finish up but I'm also installing March Performance billet pulleys and alternator bracket, Powermaster 140 amp alternator. I have the Ford Cobra oval black finned air cleaner and valve covers too. I'm waiting on some of the the dress-up stuff until after paint.

Once I'm finished with this she's going into the bodyshop for bodywork/prep/paint. I'm still deciding on paint. Was looking at Viper GTS blue/white stripes, Black/snakeskin green stripes, Snakeskin green/white stripes or Red pearl/white stripes.

I can't makeup my mind!

It looks like you have a busy spring and summer ahead of you but it should be very satisfying.

Yes, I actually have to watch out and NOT spend too much time on this.

I'm neglecting my wife's X5 - have to clean/fix the rear light contacts again and have a front turn signal bulb to replace.

I just wish I was a lot more knowledgeable. It took me a long time just to understand the what/why of this car's cooling needs.

At least I can take some satisfaction from doing some of these simpler items. Bolt-on I can do!
