Some things from Germany. I like German cars, German dogs, and apparently German guns. A little HK family photo I took today.

The USP is a nice pistol. I have two in .40S&W. I prefer my .45ACPs in 1911 form but do love my Sig P220 too. The only think I dislike about the USP is the proprietary rail but I get around that with a GG&G rail adapter.

Darwin: Love those grips on your Wilson Combat. They look like Lazza's Horned Lizards. Those are probably the next set going on my Kimber Custom II.

Here's a shot of my Springfield 1911. I shot some photos yesterday. I'm not quite there on my settings but getting close.

I've never been into weapons until I started watching that show "pawn stars" on the history channel. Amazing stuff they run across that I wouldn't mind starting my own collection

Might want to watch "Sons of Guns" on Discovery, starting Jan 26. It is being done just like Pawn Stars, featuring a custom gunsmith shop. I know the main guy....a wild man!

btw....WOW!!! The 1911 was sold at $83000...with 19 bids!! Beautiful 1911...I wish I had $83000 to spend on a pistol! lol

If i had it like that I would get that 1911 it's own X5 so it can drive itself to the range...although...I guess you don't shoot a $83000 pistol...that's for the safe only!

That is nothing to sneeze at, especially in Canada where I know you need the FAC and the restricted weapon permit. Plus, that looks like a Gen4 Glock which is not legal for civilian sales in California. (Long stupid story!) Good for you in owning a handgun in Canada.

Contrary to many non-American views (not necessarily meaning you), concealed carry is not that prevalent in the US. Many people believe that every American can get a gun and carry it and that isn't exactly true. Some states are much more lenient in terms of concealed carry but most are rather restrictive. California is one of the most restrictive when it comes to guns and legal concealed carry. It is illegal unless you have a permit to do so and the issuance of those is on a "may issue" basis rather than a "shall issue" basis.

Anyway, nice Glock. I recently gave in and got one myself. Gen3 G19 with TLR-2.
