That was a V12 LeMans engine. It'd be a little tricky to mass produce. They're not going invest great amount of resources for an SAV/SUV. The reason any of the M cars haven't come with awd is because its against their philosophy.

Does it come with busted VANOS lines?? haha..
There have been a very high number of failures on the first batch..

Should've expected it. The first batch of anything related to BMW= high number of failures.

So it would be even easier since it would be a V10. They will also have a new platform with the next X as well.
