$5.75 for V-Power here in Toronto!

Gas prices have jumped up to European prices in a matter of months!

I remember talking with friends in Europe and telling them I understand why with gas prices in the $6.50/gallon I would also stay away from V8's and now I'm driving a V8 on European gas prices!

A full gas tank is currently sitting at $125.

It's incredible to think that between the time I bought my E70 and now gas has gone up 50% !

I do love the sound and feel of that V8!!!...not a fan of the gas mileage anymore!!! Lol

Premium petrol is running around $4/US gallon ($1,06/litre) in Virginia. Diesel varies widely from $3,90-$4,10/US gallon ($1,03-$1,08/litre).

I think $4 is the new "norm". I'm well aware of the prices across the pond but it angers me that the government refuses to acknowledge the long-term effects on inflation and prices. They're treating this as an anomaly as if prices will magically go down in a few months (it won't) and not taking the proper economic steps to address the issue.

Talking heads may think speculators are behind the oil thing however there appears to be more to it than meets the eye. There appears to be a great deal of politics based on the say nothing do nothing leaders in DC and the continued unrest in the Middle east. But this article may have some additional points worth considering.

E61Silver is an unknown quantity at this point
With gas at $4.29 per gallon, I sure am happy I traded my 4.4 X5 for a 535XIT. I average over 23 MPG and the car is much faster than the old truck.

Yes, It sucks having to pay more in gas when Xs drink gas everytime you crank it up. However, you are owning it even though it sucks repairing it, you will own it even though it sucks refueling it.

Just sold the '01 4.4 to the father-in-law at the 200k mile mark. Before, it was my daily commuter car @120 mi/RT daily. I was averaging $300 a week on gas!
