The 6 is the model which I believe will define BMW's new look. It is a beautiful machine!

What is the difference between HD Radio and Sirus or XM?

I know Sirius and XM are sat radio providers, but where does HD Radio come in?

It allows terrestrial radio stations to broadcast with a full digital signal, better than CD sound quality. You'll be able to get all parts of the music track sounding as they were intended to sound by the producer and engineer through your speakers. Makes AM sound like FM, and also allows up to 8 sub-channels per frequency, eg: a station can have 104.10, 104.11, 104.12, etc. Those sub-channels could carry alternate programming too. You could have syndicated programming which originates in NYC on a sub-channel of your LA FM HD station without the need to tape-delay the broadcast, and have your usual programming on the regular non-HD frequency. We are planning a sub-channel of all acoustic and live music by the artists we frequently play at our station. I get to program one of the sub-channels, but I doubt I'll get to put on it what I would truly like to.

I had decided to day that my next car was a Z06 Corvette. Having a hard time selling that to the fam. Looking at those pics, having a hard time keeping myself from driving up to North Tampa.

Congrats on a nice car.

JV will be able to explain to us what HD Radio is. The station here in Chicago that I listen, 101.9 The Mix, will once in a while say that they are broadcasting in High Definition Radio as well. Never fully undestood it, but do know that it sounds clearer than the other stations.
