It's more like 80 grand + weary = even more weary
My options are: order a replacement or go to another dealer. There are 4 dealers around my area and I called all of them yesterday. None has anything in stock. They all have some coming in but they are all pre-sold, plus, those don't have my specific options either. One has a Monaco Blue with Creme Beige interior (a sexy color combo), but is missing the Head-Up Display (a must), and it would be here in 10 days, but I passed on that one. I would like to buy it from the same dealer, as I had bought 4 BMW's from them before, and they have been treating me very well. Service is top-notch too.

Found out from the dealer yesterday that all of their December allocations are pre-sold, though there was one spot that they tried to change the color and options but it was already too late in the game, the ordering system didn't take it. The mgr will call me back next week when their first quarter 2006 allocations are in, and place my order for the 2nd week of January build, which will push the delivery back to about 2nd or 3rd week of Febuary. I think it's a good thing to order a replacement, because I do want the lighter wood color (goes much better with my creme beige leather) and Active Steering. So, it probably was a good thing.
