Yeah, I even remember Georgia had more revenue enforcement going on than other I-95 sections. VA is a relative breeze, signed at 70mph almost the entire way (use I-295 to bypass Richmond and Petersburg). Use a radar detector with care; contrary to rumors, the penalty is just $101. Pull the plug fast enough, you will get by.

What did your friend do to the 4.8is?
That was the the worst aero kit BMW did. Shed the kit and he will get some HP back.

Enjoy the trip. I once took a member here on my 4.8is for 8 hour trip....he slept in passenger seat through the trip. I was hoping he will offer to help with drive. And he is a young fella.

I told him the aero kit looks ridiculous too. But hey, to each their own.. hes coming with me, but hes a very erradic driver, so i'm gonna try to pull as much of the journey as i can.. yes we're going straight through.

meeting mD for a round of golf on monday.. should be a great experience. especially after such a rough semester at cornell.

I'm losing it here, i swear.

i have a midterm tomorrow night, so the best time to call me would be before 7pm, rolling out of ithaca at like 10-11pm, should be in jersey around 1-2am, getting up in the morning, dropping my car off at BMW for a detail, then to hackensack for my repairs

Then giving the 4.8is a quick wax, and check over. hitting the road by around 4pm. Should be in florida 12pm saturday. yikes.

I'll get the name of the golf course for you, so we can plan accordingly.
