is it weird that i'm actually disappointed that i cant experience this hurricane because i'm now in upstate NY?

i was seriously considering taking the X for a ride down to my house on the jerz shore to see this baby in action. Then i realized that i have to drive back next weekend for labor day. hm....I'll just get a buddy at home to set up skype pointed at the shore

in other news, i think this is the first time that Ithaca will actually have better weather than the rest of the east coast... which is all so sobering when you realize that every single female at this school either has 24/7 pms, or is extremely unfortunate looking.
