This is what I have, but I haven't looked at newer ones in years:

Amazon.com: Delphi MyFi XM2GO Portable XM Satellite Radio Receiver with Home / Car Kits: Car Electronics

Dunno...I need/want a porto receiver like I want another bag of used golf balls...
I just want my CEO's nice in dash NAV/CD player, AM/FM, back up cam, BT, Sirius unit to be able to be 'renewed' for something less than $160 yr, for her to listen to her one freakin station.

I called again: same stonewall, even from 'retention mgr'. Biz must be good at Sirius, or they are only after the really high margin renewal to compensate for the free deals that come with new cars. Gonna let it sit and simmer for awhile as a 'former customer' and see what happens in a few days/weekish.

The Pandora app isn't the answer for her: we frequently get much less than 3G on her Droid, driving around in western NC. A buddy at my club did it for his wife and said the reception sucked and a new app update produced pop up ads in middle of tunes. And, since his wife gabbed on her smartphone all the time, the pass off/pass on for phone/BT vs Pandora, was pretty glitchy. Might be OK at the FL area, but not so hot here in the mtns.

NEway, I will quit beefing and will post again when I am successful in a less than list price renewal, or I cave in and pay Howard fookin Stern's bar bill.

Seriously? Over a $160 annual renewal? And say what exactly?

Well I had let my Sirius expire and they just sent me a letter offering 6 months for $25 and no activation fee.

My CEO's sub has expired too...but no letter, no deal; just an email to survey 'my experience' with several 'chats' and phone conversations with their hard line/menu reading Customer 'Care' people, including a couple of Broom Hildas as retention mgrs. I leaned on them via the survey...

If I get that 6 month offer, I may or may not take it: I don't need to go through a repeat of their pricey hoops in another 6 months as once a year is plenty for me.

The CEO hasn't squawked too much, yet...

What does Win8 have to do with Sirius?

Update...finally got a deal for Sirius renewal.
The sub is the same my CEO has had and is called Mostly Music with ~70+ stations. She listens to 2 or 3; I listen to 4 or 5.

By stalling, letting old annual sub expire, emails, chats, several phone calls with 'retention mgrs', got it renewed for about $100 which included the sub, the royalty fee, the tax, etc. She is happy, so 'we' are happy.

They may be the least consumer friendly company I have dealt with in quite some time, esp on the renewal pricing. And, they were very persistent in trying to charge for the time interval on her expired sub., which had lapsed by 6 weeks or so.

In renewal, using a CC, be careful as their 'customer agreement' is several pages of mice print sized boiler plate, all of which is on their behalf, and dodging the 'auto renewal' or sliding into a less arm wrestle renewal again in a year, takes some calendar notation and steps.

Real PIA company...can't understand why the usual 'wizard' Malone/Liberty Media is trying to acquire most/all of this company, esp with the mp3 gang so entrenched.
