$400K worth Bentleys Stolen at Paul Miller Bentley in NJ
Thieves came in style in a red X5.....
 A group of brazen thieves drove off with two luxury vehicles worth nearly a half-million dollars that were parked idling outside a Route 46 dealership's showroom early Saturday evening, Parsippany Police said. According to police, Paul Miller Bentley employees said two vehicles for sale were left running outside of the showroom Saturday shortly after 5 p.m. A red BMW X5 pulled up in front of the dealership and two black males, one wearing a red hooded sweatshirt exited the vehicle, police said. Police said each man got into one of the idling vehicles and drove off onto Route 46, accompanied by the red BMW. The three vehicles then made a U-turn at the entrance to the Arlington Plaza shopping center and fled onto Interstate 80 East, police said. Unless the crooks have already delivered them to a waiting ship or covered transport, for 'export', those cars shouldn't be too difficult to spot, even in north Joisey...
And, what dlr leaves Bentleys or even Chevy Cruzes idling in the driveway?! As nom3rcy said, it does sound kind of fishy...

That's across the street from Paul Miller Audi where I bought my Q5 last year. I know one of the sales guys at the RR/Bentley dealer, I'll email him now.

I've been to that dealership many times. Probably not inside job... They move the cars into the back at the end of each day after displaying them all day. I bet the thieves studied this hard and knew when to come. They just showed up during moving process

Yup, dealers can get very careless about things like this. It wouldn't be difficult to spot the pattern and make off with a car pretty easily. My local BMW store has an E90 M3 stolen by some fast talking by someone posing as an employee of another dealership picking up a dealer trade. Think also about how easy it could be to steal a car from a valet service.
Those two Bentleys are either going in a container out of the country or put into hiding until a VIN switch can be accomplished.

I live close by this dealer. My friend had 3 cars stolen from her garage last year. 2 range rovers and an SL55. The thieves knew where her garage alarm motion sensors were. They knew they had to enter the range rovers from a certain door to avoid the garage alarm. It's insane.
They found the SL55 a few days later in Newark with the engine blown... The range rovers were found in a shipping container that was to be shipped to Russia. Scary shit...

When they catch car thieves they should give them a 15 min speedy trial, and shoot the bastards on Fri Night pay cable TV...
I suspect it would give pause to the next gangsta that wants to rip off cars. Worked pretty well on actual & potential horse thieves.
