I think we can write for days about the SE phones, there are just not enough good things I can say about them.. Atleast the upper model SE phones.

I have had plenty of experience with phones, not because they break; but because a close friend has a cell phone store and gets phones from all around the world. He is nice enough to let me test out phones and give him my opinions.

I've tested ever brand known to man and for the money SE are the best in my opinion. Battery life, features, reception, and whatever else. You can update the firmware as if it were a mini computer.

The SE phones I would consider are K700, K750, S700. S710, W800, W900, P990. I got the K750 right now and love it. You have external memory.

I'm dissapointed in Motorolas phones because if you compare there highend models such as the V3 and Rocker; there menus are exactly the same almost.

I think Samsung phones are getting better and better with their features.

It also depends on what service provider you are going to use. Verizon does have the largest network, but they make phones so complicated where they have locks on all their phones. You can hardly do anything with them.

If you have a GSM network you can make use of all SE phones. I can watch TV, music videos, cartoons, heck even porn on my phone. And lots lots more.

The Z520 is a phone that costs less then the V3 but have many more features as well. If you are considering the Z520, I think you should go with the K700 for the money. Similar phone, but better camera and speakerphone.

Are any SE phones available for Verizon customers? If so, would you know which?

I had a V635 which worked well with the car, but the phone itself was awful! battery life was a joke the only saving grace was the snap in adapter kept it charged but when out of the car was a waste of time. I dont like the menus and the phone was very slow too.To me the se phones are in a different class.

Well I've got the Nokia N70 which is on 3G in the UK. also have the Motorola Pebl and was a doddle to pair with the X5.

Often wondered why do you guys in the states use the speaker/handsfree bit ???

what's wrong with bluetooth around the ear??? means your phone can stay in your pocket all day long.

Mind you I think the USA are a bit behind in their phones noticed that when we have been over.

I have the cingular RAZR, and it is about the best phone I have ever had, Battery life is outstanding, reception is very good, speakerphone works great, voice recognition is good as well. The only thing I don't like is that bluetooth is limited (locked) so I have to use a cable to dowload my address book from my MAC rather than use bluetooth (which my sonyericsson had no trouble doing).

I ended up picking up the Moto e815. I don't care much for the styling of the Razr, and the e815 has better features, battery life, really not much bigger, better keypad, less $$, etc.

I got a good package deal including a car charger and a Moto Bluetooth headset. Only have had since yesterday, but happy so far.

Thanks to everyone for the input!
