A Mac won't let you change the default fonts on your web browser??? Doesn't sound like a platform that's very user friendly :p

Huh?? Since when? I am not aware of that... Matter of fact, both Safari and Firefox allow you to change their default font... Not sure about IE since I don't use it.

He had many more issues than the one listed. It was a 4 year old Toshiba laptop. 700Mhz PII, 384Mb memory and only a 10Gb HD. He basically outgrew it. I convinced him that it was time to replace it. After all, he only had ~450Mb of free space left on his HD.

Given those specs, probably a good time to upgrade. You should take that old laptop, though, and convert it into a carputer with CarX
