Common Courtsey When Driving in Snow related weather

I've seen it all. The ones that ride you azz when the snow is pouring...and everyone else has dropped 10-15mph the usual speed. Or the idiots who don't remove the snow off their roofs and have snow just blinding everyone behind them

Today, was the winner. Some lazy SOB on the opposing lane decided to only clear 1/3 of his front windshield (leaving at least 3-4 thick snow) on the other 2/3rd. He basically just cleared his drivers front view.

As I pass, he did the same on the rear of his window....

Sometimes I wonder where are peoples common courtesy these days....

No time to remove all the snow. There are too many texts to send and websites to visit while driving!

Not to mention the obligatory "driving while taking pic of snow fall and people on highway and posting to FB to show all my 700+ 'friends' who i only met once" that must be going on!

To me it isn't a courtesy issue, it is a safety issue. At least it is grounds for a ticket.

^Yep, not a matter of courtesy, it's a hazard to everyone. Police here give tickets if your windshield isn't cleared of snow. Not often enough though.

My all time worst winter pet peeve are the people with block heaters who are too lazy to unplug the extension cord. They stretch it across the hood and wind it around the side mirror. I've seen it come unravelled on the freeway and the cord goes whipping around from lane to lane. I kid you not.

Last week I was driving on Hwy 114 (75mph) and the girl in the lane next to me was taking selfies while "duck billing"!

Thanks for that, I didn't even know what it was. Now I won't ever get back the time I wasted looking it up.

I had to look that one up after this comment...

I think up here in Canada winter tires should be mandatory in every province... they are not in Alberta, so you get a lot of people driving cars with bold all seasons with the claim "I've been driving for X number of years, i know how to drive"... I am not saying that having winter tires will eliminate the risk of an accident but it for sure decreases it by a lot...

I'm assuming it is sticking out your lips like a duck's bill?

I sure hope not #1.
