Camber plates on an X5 or are these for one of your other cars? Are they adjustable or do they just add neg camber up front? One day I'm actually going to look into camber plates and adjustable rear c-arms for my M3. Last month would have been good timing though for the control arms since I needed to replace all the right rear suspension components... thanks black ice

Edit - Ok, so I just read the DIY article and see that they are adjustable. I guess my question is what benefits would you see on an X5 with or without them? Don't get me wrong, I think they're great and all, but it's not something I see being adjusted often or adding much too the handling since the X5 already handles quite well for what it is.

Wow, fantastic article and excellent tests considering what you had available. It makes me want to go back and drive the X5 again, then see about adding camber plates. It's not something I would bring up to my ex since she probably would have no desire of adding these the the X and I used to drive it a lot harder anyway... more like I drive the M3.

I guess swapping the strut hats like people used to do on the E36s isn't really an option for the X5? After reading what the plates did for the X5, I really cannot wait to either swap hats or buy camber plates for my M3 and hit the track and auto-x this coming season

Oh, and when are we gonna get to go for a ride or drive the 996 Cup Car huh? :p
