Thanks.... From what I've been told and read, GM is done with rebates and incentives. What they've done instead is lower the MSRP (and hence the invoice price) of every vehicle except Saab and Hummer... I paid invoice for my TB, unfortunately because the lease assumption on my X took so long, I missed the GM Supplier pricing, but it turns out to be close to the same with new lower MSRP's.

traitor...

Just kidding, obviously.

You've gotta do what's best for you and the family. Congrats on your new purchase. Let us know what you think... and -- this goes without saying -- please stick around.

Seems like TB is not one of the models.

I know it's not an X, I know that the X is superior, I'm sad to no longer own my X5, but this was a financial and quality of life issue and the right thing to do for me right now. I'll be back in a BMW someday, but for now, my stable will be comprised of a 2004 Z16 Vette and a 2006 Trailblazer LT. I got a great deal on it, considering Chevy ended all of their incentive programs, and I should save about $350/month compared to my X, and I won't have to worry about my headlights being stolen everywhere I park it .

Yup, the TB was part of it, GM lowered the invoice and MSRP by about $2,500. They just don't offer any "incentives" like cash back or GM Supplier, or GM Employee pricing anymore. I've been following this closely, I really missed out on the employee pricing deal that ended on 1/3, would have save another $2k ... oh well, couldn't chance buying the new car and have the lease assumption on my X go south, it was too big of a risk.

No rationale needed, imo...
