For that kind of cash I would be all over a .300 Blackout AR (but then I would need over $1000 for optics).

Not a fan of lightening the slide of a poly-frame semi-auto, need to install a stiffer spring to counter-act reduced mass.

All the effort/cost and what do you end up with? A gun that recoils/muzzle rises more then before modification.

The "Call of Duty, Black Ops" fanboys can have them all.

Yeah I personally don't do any poly frame stippling/lightening - I prefer my unmodified frames out of the box - Plus, something weird about hitting a brand new gun with a dremel

Don't forget the $200 tax stamp + few hundred for a good suppressor on the end of that .300 BO rifle.

Agreed on the weird Glock mods. It's one thing to look cool. It's another thing to reduce functionality to achieve the cool look.

Crap, the accessories cost more then the rifle!

^Lol so true - I spent more for the 10/22 in accessories already - but hey, its cheaper than modding cars (sometimes)

I'll see if I can post up a pic of my PPQ later - what a seriously sweet pistol - I fitted the small backstrap, although its not much different than the medium, allows me a better feel in the hand. The recoil spring assembly looks a bit flimsy with the plastic on each end, but should probably hold up well - there is a company making assemblies with stainless rods and factory springs, which I am considering. The Glock Gen4 recoil spring assembly (dual) is a much better design IMO - its nit picky but probably my only complaint about the pistol (and the boring polymer sights, but thats a Glock complaint too)

Wilson Combat has a good kit for the PPQ.

I read a review of the brigadier tactical where the Wilson rep mentioned a PPQ kit was in the works (around 6 months ago). Thought it would be released by now.

Seems some PPQ owners are currently using the ssguiderods part and a #17 Wilson Combat spring.
