hmmmmm, imploding?

1) economy on fire
2) unemployment, especially amongst minorities at all time lows
3) just disarmed north korea when obumma was ready to declare war on them as his final screw up.

I guess we have different definitions of imploding lol

I have an idea for those that think the country is a wreck - take the difference in your paycheck from before the tax law changes and give it to charity, or back to your employer. I'm sure that you'r morals won't allow you to accept it considering how morally bankrupt the current admin is.

Go ahead, i'll wait....

And I am not a lefty. Purely independent. It's interesting watching the two parties implode. Though would certainly prefer the Dems to the current Rep setup.
you seriously think that the party of schumer and the witch pelosi isn't morally bankrupt!??! Thank you, I literally laughed out loud at that. Classic.

Before 2016 my thoughts may have been different.. but now, they look like angels compared to the current admin.

1. The economy is going gang busters (and was doing so under the last admin as well) for big business and wall street. If you are part of that group, yeah you are probably happy as a clam. The majority of the country can fight for the left overs I suppose.

2. Unemployment was low when he took office. He's been riding the wave. Credit to him for not doing anything as of yet to mess it up. Too bad wages are not rising at the rate they should be with unemployment so low. At current rates, companies should be raising salaries to compete for talent. But that's not happening... yet.

3. Don't count those chickens just yet. Much like waiting for the results of the investigations before judging Trump's possible transgressions... I'm waiting for the results of his deal with Kim to see if anything real and verifiable comes of it.

As for wages in a check... didn't see any real difference. <.05%. Hardly sends my wife and I dancing in the streets on payday. If he really wants to stimulate the economy, how about helping main street by doing away with the self-employment tax? Corporate tax cuts are great but don't help nearly as many as cutting the self-employment tax.

I'm not sure what I said that sounded liberal. Certainly wouldn't characterize myself as one. I'm an independent and support conservative policies (usually spending... in ALL areas) and liberal policies depending on whether or not I believe it would be the better way to go for the majority of people. Never follow party lines blindly as so many do. This "R" and "D" thing next to a name is a terrible way for our politicians to be elected. Makes for a lazy and uneducated electorate, which I suppose is the way politicians like it...

But I could see you being on an island out there in NY/NJ if you are a party-line towing republican. You should move to FL or GA.
Have a good weekend. You do the same. If you're a father, happy father's day. I'll be spending mine in the garage as the wife and kids demand my attention most of the time. Try to check off some of my automotive to-do's that get put on the back burner.

I think that anything that Trump has done that can be remotely interpreted as good for the country has been destroyed over and over by the frightening example he sets for all Americans and nations around the world.

A critical part of the foundation of leadership is trust and a morality that continually contributes to that trust. Trump chooses to be a the worst definition of boss rather than anything that displays leadership qualities.

The only choice of someone that chooses to be this kind of a boss is to rule by intimidation and create continual uncertainty. To hold that position one must create clearly visible chaos, warring between his administration. Those in the most critical position in his organization must be like minded and have poor sense of self esteem. They avoid collective input or consensus from the organization at all cost. They must create an atmosphere they they are indispensable, they are all knowing and the only way to success. They create significant pay differences between peers all across the organization. They promote in fighting. They invite attacks on individuals and departments that don't toe the line. They destroy morale and anyone that stands up to them or disagrees is publicly attacked with intent to 'destroy' them.

In a very short time, based on an individuals perception of his success, individuals are infected, potentially for the rest of their life. That is what we are seeing, our children are watching, our allies will back away from and our enemies will see as a critical flaw to exploit. As long as silos of belief are rigid and adding bricks rather than removing them we collectively become weaker and more vulnerable as a nation. A silo of greed, hatred and power hungry cannot be sustained if a democracy is going to survive.

A bully preys on the weak with the intent to completely destroy them. I will be surprised if we don't soon see a country such as this attacked. A choreographed, lighting up the sky and whiting out the cameras ruthless attack. It will be Trump's widely enhanced vision of shock and awe, intended to live on to eternity. What he sees as the biggest and the best ever. He won't mess with China, Russia or North Korea. He already knows he can't bully them. Watch out Iran!
