Vaccines are there for our protection. I understand some people are reticent because this vaccine was developed in such short time frame, there's no long term study available to let us know of its possible side effects.

But.... you take the lesser of 2 evils. You don't ever have everything the way you want in life.

I agree with you. I also agree with Bill Maher, the comedian and HBO host of his show “Real Time with Bill Maher” where he was incredulous that now in America, we have to bribe people to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
In his most recent show's introductory monologue, Maher said: “They’re giving away college scholarships, free beer and baseball tickets. California is giving away $160 million in cash and prizes. We’re at the Bob Barker phase of the pandemic…All over the world people are dying to get this vaccine but here they got to give you a jet ski first, then maybe they will consider getting vaccinated”.
