Again wondering. Having had COVID in your family, knowing what you know now, if the vaccine had been available prior, would any of the family have gotten vaccinated?.

FYI, experts have not determined how long the antibodies are sufficient protection and not all that have been infected have antibodies. One study found that 88% showed no evidence of antibodies. Current recommendation is to get vaccinated even if one has already recovered from being infected.
I would like to see more historical data before I consider getting any kind of vaccine. I dont even get the recommended iOS or Windows updates until proven bug free I like to let others be the guinea pigs...

189 million people in US have been fully vaccinated. 2-5 per million have had complications from the vaccine. Are there that many real guinea pigs in the US?

The problem with not mandating vaccination against covid is we still have roughly 90 Million or so of the population not vaccinated, and the states they live in is now the hot bed for new covid cases.

That’s a serious downside. It means we are continuing to feed the virus with new hosts and allowing possible new mutations time to emerge.

When are we going to realize an effective campaign against a world wide pandemic means a country wide strategy to fight the virus?

Personal freedom doesn’t play into this pandemic at all.

Do you not require all your soldiers to put on their helmet when they are in a battlefield?

Aren't vaccinated people still catching and potentially spreading the virus as well?

So, by your logic, a bullet can sometimes ricochet and kill a soldier wearing a helmet. Does that mean all the soldiers can decide arbitrarily to wear or not to wear a helmet on the battlefield?

It was just a question. Now I have another question... If an unvaccinated soldier wearing a helmet catches covid they would probably have a much higher chance of surviving then getting shot in the head without their helmet?

I get why it’s pointless to try and convince you otherwise.

So here it is. You and the 90 millions or so people in this country are doing a disservice to everyone by refusing to do all that you can to stop the spread of this pandemic.

It’s not going away because you exercise your personal freedom.

It goes away because you make a personal sacrifice to do what you don’t like to do so we can all collectively try and stop it.

Finding excuse not to buck up? What are you? 8?
