I agree there's no need for guns at this point, but remember we are NOT a democracy. We are a Democratic Republic and there is a huge difference between the two....

A Democracy is majority rules and at 51% the majority can vote to remove your Rights, property or freedom.

A Republic has laws made by elected representatives and has protections against a basic majority removing your Rights, property or freedom.
