Close..... very close. But this is Sabine Ehrenfeld, the spokesbabe for Overstock.com. A twin separated at birth?

Wow! Now things are starting to get interesting.
Sounds like she is for the things that some people have accused McCain of being against. Agreed. Hot back in the day. |

picking her is either pure genius, or political suicide.
I'm hoping for the former.

I'd say, SMART move. He probably also just picked up a nice percentage of the Hillary voters.

That would also assume that Hillary supporters were passionate about Hillary only because she was a woman, not because of her issues. I think there was a specific reason why they wanted that woman (Hillary) for president. Palin is not a "insert female candidate here to win" replacement for Hillary. |

From my seat, I don't believe his intentions were to pick up Hillary supporters. We all know that many Hillary supporters would never vote Republican even if Hillary herself switched political parties. What I think this move largely did was take the word CHANGE that Obama keeps throwing around, and stuffs it down the throat of the Dem's. Obama can say change as much as he wants but here is McCain, a Rep, and he is the one that is sticking his neck out to do something different. Who ever would have thought the the REP's would have a female running mate? So Obama can say Change but McCain is really doing it. And in my opinion, that is a landmark decision that will help swing voters see a more progressive REP party. So the Hillary voters, "some" of which were supportive because she could have been the first female Pres. May now re-evaluate who the candidate is that is truly trying to make "change".. I think McCain is in a win, win. His party would never vote for Obama because he chose a female running mate. But many potential Obama voters may have to re-evaluate who the person is that is actively taking steps towards real change, not just the word.. This decision seems like a good one. McCain just crushed Obama's entire, one word, campaign.
