Considering the person McCain is running against and his one word campaign, "change".. I would suggest that this clearly shows McCain as someone who is also trying to think out of the box and is actually taking a proactive approach to instituting it.

I'd say, SMART move. He probably also just picked up a nice percentage of the Hillary voters.

I remember some news agency did a piece about her. She's the one that cleaned up the Alaskan government "corruption." Something to do with the oil companies and the Alaskan Government "taking" bribes. She's one impressive woman!

No matter what happens - this election is going to be historic.

It was more of a tactical move than a strategic move - Would you want Sarah Palin (no experience at all) to be your comander in chief if McCain dies during his presidency?
