He later in his answer stated that his government would deal with the crisis by spending...Yes spending on health-care and other programs. McCain should have jumped all over that.
One other missed opportunity McCain had was when the moderator asked if the economy would take another downturn once the recovery bill was put into place. Obama said he did not think so and was positive. McCain said he was not sure and it depended on what we (America) did...Here is where he could have said it could get worse if Obama gets elected and taxes the very businesses we need to get on the road to a recovery and jobs creation.
Obama won and in all likelihood will be the next president.
